A message from our CEO

As CEO of AC Developments, it is my responsibility to ensure that the day to day operations of the First Nation's business enterprises are managed in a prudent and proficient manner. It is also my responsibility to work with the Board of Directors on expanding and enhancing operations by bringing new investment opportunities to the First Nation.

The approach taken to achieve this mandate has been first to focus on becoming, "business ready" by ensuring we have the proper authorities, structures, and processes in place to make sound business and investment decisions. Secondly, the approach has been to work on building a strong management team that has the necessary capacity, work ethics, and overall determination to make our program a success.

I am confident that the First Nation is on the right track towards making our community become self-sufficient. The efforts we are making today in strengthening and enhancing our operations will lay the foundation by which we as an organization can build wealth and create opportunities for the benefit of our community and people.

These are truly exciting times for Economic Development. The overall economy and prospects for our community is looking very bright. Eminent settlement of the First Nations Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) will substantially broaden our economic opportunities and investment capacities within Economic Development.
